Essential Espadrilles, Summer 2015

As it continues to rain in good old Houston, Texas, I cannot help but dream of sun.  In my dream, I’m walking along the streets of Cannes in my white lace dress and navy wedge espadrilles.  Okay, I’ve officially woken up (albeit slightly depressed), and my mind has turned to espadrilles.

There are so many to choose from this season ranging from lace up flats to sky-high wedges.  Add in a variety of fun prints like the infamous pineapple or vamp up your wardrobe with splashes of stars and stripes.

I’m a major fan of espadrilles because they can be comfortable and casual or dressy and demure.  There are so much to choose from.  As many of you may know, I love buying items that can be worn both in the office and on a Saturday out with the girls.  Several designers have launched 2 or 3 inch wedges that work brilliantly…

Bar Method

Morning Espresso



I am a big fan of the Bar Method.  It is a one hour bar-based workout that tones and shapes your body targeting your arms, thighs, glutes, and abs.  It also satisfies my inner ballet desire as I used to take ballet as a little girl.  I love how within one hour, I get cardio, stretching, and toning all in one class, making me feel amazing to conquer the rest of the day.  As an avid runner, I am all about getting my heart rate up!  I use the Bar Method app to help plan out my workouts–a plus in my book especially when I have a baby schedule to accommodate.  I am looking forward to getting back to my pre-pregnancy shape with the Bar Method!
